Tally Keypad privacy policy
Effective 23 September 2026
The Tally app
The Tally app is a calculator. It collects nothing, sends nothing over the network, and contains no analytics, advertising or tracking.
The Tally App Clip
The App Clip is a prop for magicians and mentalists, opened by tapping a performer's NFC tag or link. While it is open, the calculator's display, the expression being entered and its result are sent over an encrypted connection to the performer's own server, so the performer can use them in a mind-reading routine. The clip may also receive from that server the number it should show as a result, for a prediction.
Nothing else is collected: no name, contact details, location, device identifiers, photos or other content, and nothing is linked to the person using the calculator. The data is not used for advertising or tracking and is not sold or shared with third parties. The performer's server keeps only the latest entry, in memory, not in a database, and passes it only to the performer's own devices, such as a printer or a watch.
Children
Tally is not directed at children and knowingly collects no personal information from anyone.
